News India Live, Digital Desk: A major and strict action was taken on Tuesday morning in the busiest Sakshi Bazaar in Jamshedpur city of Jharkhand, where many shops made by illegally encroached and the administration. During this campaign, about 20 shops, including paan gums, food and other small shops, were demolished, which created an atmosphere of chaos on the spot.
This action was taken by Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee JNAC in the presence of heavy police force. Initially, some shopkeepers tried to oppose this campaign of the administration, but they did not run in front of a large number of policemen and JCB machines. The officials continued their work without any concession and started demolishing the prescribed illegal structures.
An important order of the Supreme Court is being described behind this demolition action. The apex court had directed to remove illegal encroachments that disrupted traffic in busy cities like Jamshedpur. In fact, Sakshi Golchakkar is a major commercial and traffic center in the city, where these illegal shops and shoes caused a huge jam, causing the general public and daily travelers to face a lot of trouble. The local administration had earlier issued several notices to these shopkeepers to remove encroachments, but the warning was ignored, after which this drastic step had to be taken.
Officials say that this step was extremely important to make the traffic system in the city smooth, ensure road safety and get the citizens to get rid of the severe jam in the Sakshi area. This campaign to remove encroachment shows that the administration is fully committed to improving the infrastructure and system of the city.
