Railways has announced to run a Chhath special train from Dhanbad to Patna. This decision is no less than a gift for thousands of passengers who were troubled by the long waiting lists in trains to go to their homes during the festival.

Running of this special train will reduce the pressure especially on regular trains like Ganga-Damodar Express and Maurya Express and waiting list passengers will be able to get confirmed seats.

When will this special train run?

This special train will leave from Dhanbad for Patna on the night of Saturday, 25 October 2025, whereas in return, this train (train number 03304) will depart from Patna on 26 October 2025 at 4:50 am. Railways has taken this decision in a hurry in view of the huge crowd gathered on Chhath.

After opening from Dhanbad, this special train will stop at many important stations, so that more and more passengers can take advantage of it. Although complete information about the detailed route is still being released by the Railways, but as per the pattern of previous Chhath Special trains, the major stoppages of this train may be as follows:

Coach and Booking Information

Adequate number of coaches will be installed in this train for the convenience of passengers. According to the information, the train will have eight 3rd AC coaches and one chair car coach.
