
The Yogi government has made a big plan to further improve the roads of Uttar Pradesh. Along with laying a network of roads from the western end of the state to the eastern end, many national highways will also be expanded. The project is being prepared from the initiative of the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, which is working to improve the connectivity of the state.
2,100 km long road projects will work
Work on about 2,100 km long road projects in Uttar Pradesh will start soon. An amount of more than Rs 2.50 lakh crore will be spent for these projects. The bidding process has also started in many of these projects. These projects will play an important role in strengthening connectivity in different parts of Uttar Pradesh.
Road network from western to eastern Uttar Pradesh:

Road from Shamli to Gorakhpur: A major project is being started to further improve road connectivity from western Uttar Pradesh to eastern Uttar Pradesh. A 659 km long road will be built between Shamli to Gorakhpur, which is estimated to cost Rs 44,920 crore. DPR bids have also been received for this project.

Aligarh-Moradabad-Bijnor Road Corridor: A 240 km long road corridor will be developed between Aligarh, Moradabad and Bijnor. This will increase travel facilities in this region and improve regional connectivity.

Road between Ayodhya and Prayagraj: A 212 km long road will be constructed to reduce the distance between Ayodhya and Prayagraj. The project will cost around Rs 20,000 crore. This road will reduce the time of travel and strengthen connectivity between these two major religious cities.

Road Corridor from Prayagraj to Patna: A 249 km long new road corridor will be built between Prayagraj, Varanasi, Ara and Patna. An amount of Rs 24,446 crore is estimated to be spent on this project. With this, the journey between Uttar Pradesh and Bihar will be made simple and fast.

Road net in Purvanchal: In Purvanchal, a 42 -km long road will be constructed between Ghazipur, Zamania and Syedraja to strengthen road connectivity. The estimated expenditure of this project is Rs 2363 crore.

Gorakhpur to Siliguri Road: The road between Gorakhpur to Kishangarh and Siliguri will be constructed, which will make connectivity between these cities even better.

188 km long road between Agra-Morana-Gwalior-Jhansi-Sagar: With the construction of this road project, there will be better road connectivity between Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, which will make trade and travel easier.

Pratapgarh bypass (50 km): A new bypass will be built in Pratapgarh, which will reduce the traffic congestion inside the city and will be smooth.
