According to ADCP Traffic Anshuman Mishra, entry of normal vehicles will be completely restricted on many major routes of the city from 12 noon to 11 pm today and from 6 am to 10 am tomorrow. If you too are planning to step out of the house in these two days, then definitely take a look at the new route map.

Changed routes of buses of neighboring districts: Wheels will stop on Ring Road only Due to PM Modi’s program, major changes have been made in the routes of buses coming from neighboring districts Prayagraj, Jaunpur and Azamgarh. Buses coming from Prayagraj, Sonbhadra and Mirzapur will be able to come from Mohansarai underpass only till Mudhaila intersection and from there they will be sent back. Buses coming from Jaunpur will operate till Harhua Ring Road underpass and buses from Ghazipur and Azamgarh will operate from Azamgarh Ring Road underpass only. The entry of roadways and private buses within the city will be stopped from Babatpur itself, so that the pressure on Babatpur-Shivpur road is reduced.

‘No entry’ of heavy vehicles in Bareka (BLW) area In view of the Prime Minister’s stay at Bareka (BLW) Guest House, this area has been declared a complete ‘No Vehicle Zone’. Vehicles heading towards Lahartara, Manduwadih, Bhikharipur and Kakarmatta overbridges have been diverted to alternative routes. Even within the BLW complex, movement will be completely restricted at key points like Cinema Hall Tiraha, Central Market and Surya Sarovar. Devotees going towards Baba Vishwanath Temple and Ghats should pay attention On April 29, the Prime Minister will go for darshan and worship of Baba Vishwanath. During this period, strictness will be imposed on the roads leading to Godaulia, Maidagin and Chowk from 4 am onwards. Devotees have been advised not to use these routes during VVIP movement. Passengers coming to the city from the airport should also note that heavy vehicles are being diverted from Babatpur Chowki Tiraha towards Baragaon. The traffic police has appealed to the people to start their journey only by looking at ‘Google Map’ and traffic updates to avoid inconvenience.

Impenetrable circle of security: strict surveillance from sky to ground Along with SPG, a large number of police forces and PAC have been deployed for the security of the Prime Minister. Ganga is being monitored through water police and drones in the sky. Barricading has been done at various places and suspicious vehicles are being searched. The administration has appealed to the people for cooperation so that the VVIP movement can be conducted smoothly. During this visit, PM will also gift projects worth Rs 6,350 crore to Kashi, which includes many important projects related to railways and infrastructure.
