Gujarat's company Valiant Intech Private Limited, which is purifying the water of ponds and lakes in South Africa, will purify the water of Moti Pokhara in Gorakhpur at its own expense. The company will use its nano bubble technology in purifying the water of the pond. On the instructions of Municipal Commissioner Gaurav Singh Sogarwal, the work order has been issued in the name of the company. If the company is successful in fulfilling its claim, then the Municipal Corporation will entrust it with the work of purifying the water of its other ponds and lakes.
Valiant Intech Private Limited will clean Moti Pokhara located in Basharatpur with the help of 'aerator' through nano bubble technology. Aerator cleans water with the help of small bubbles. Rather, it takes oxygen from outside the pond and pushes it to the bottom of the pond. In such a situation, the amount of oxygen in the water remains very high. Due to sufficient amount of oxygen, beneficial bacteria get an opportunity to grow and expand themselves rapidly in the pond water. Nano bubbles increase the availability of oxygen dissolved in water everywhere.
Dr. Anita Agarwal, the patron of Heritage Foundation, an organization working in the field of forest and environment, has praised this initiative of the Municipal Corporation. She said that doing so will pave the way for preserving more than 90 ponds in the Municipal Corporation area and purifying their water. The eco-system of the ponds will also improve.
38.05 lakh rupees will be spent
The total cost of this project will be Rs 30.05 lakh, which will be borne by the firm itself. Apart from this, Rs 6.11 lakh will be spent every year on its operation and maintenance. Under this project, many equipment will be installed in the pond, the life of these equipment is 15 years as per the company's claim.
Municipal officials say that on the proposal of the firm, the responsibility of cleaning Moti Pokhara was given as a pilot project. If the experiment is successful, other ponds of the city will also be cleaned in the same way. The firm will start its work soon.
