Lucknow, 20 August (HS). BJP's National General Secretary and National Co-Membership Incharge Dushyant Gautam said that the responsibility of nation building is on the shoulders of BJP workers. Our government has been formed at the centre for the third consecutive time under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

BJP Uttar Pradesh's membership campaign workshop was held on Tuesday at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan Gomti Nagar Lucknow under the chairmanship of party's state president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary. BJP's membership campaign starting from September 1 will be run on a large scale in the entire state. In the membership campaign, any citizen of the country can take membership through missed call, QR code, Namo App and BJP's website on the number 8800002024 issued by BJP for membership.

BJP's National General Secretary and National Membership Co-Incharge Dushyant Gautam said that the responsibility of building the country is on the shoulders of BJP workers. There used to be two MPs of our party in the Parliament and today under the leadership of Modiji, we have formed the government at the Centre for the third consecutive time. We heard the taunts of 'Hum Do Hamare Do'. We also heard the taunts of 'Hum Ram Mandir Banayenge, Date Nahi Baten', but we remained determined. We chose the path of fulfilling our resolutions. This could be accomplished only because of the workers and the organization. He said that we have to take the membership campaign seriously. The BJP worker is Hanuman. He fulfills whatever he resolves to do. We have to reach out to every person, class and area and work to make everyone a member of the party.

Dushyant Gautam said that we got independence in 1947 but it came with a huge tragedy. Article 370 and the creation of POK are also part of these tragedies. We got today's India after the partition of the country and the martyrdom of lakhs of people. Conspiracies to attack India and Indianness are happening not only before and after independence, but even now.

The National General Secretary said that for BJP workers, the country comes first, the party comes second and the person comes last. People ask what is the difference between BJP and Congress? The biggest difference is that Congress' Jawaharlal Nehru divided the country into two parts to become the Prime Minister and our President Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee sacrificed his life for the unity of India. He said that it is the result of the strength of the organization that BJP has given a Prime Minister like Modi. He has become Prime Minister for the third consecutive time. Nehru also became, but there was no trace of opposition then. Today, while fighting the lies of 2500 parties and people of the tukde-tukde gang who do not even let the House function, we have achieved this feat on the strength of our workers and public trust. No one can explain better than the people of Congress and Indi Alliance how the politics of lies is, how it is done. They spread lies in the name of how they will change the Constitution, reservation will end. Whereas the work of changing the Preamble of the Constitution was done by Indira Gandhi's government. It was the Congress government itself that destroyed the Constitution by imposing Emergency.

He said that BJP is a party of rare workers. During the Corona period, BJP workers sacrificed their lives by doing a lot of service work. For them, the country and society came first. Leaders and workers of any other party did not come out of their homes. We all have to run the membership campaign effectively on a large scale across the state as per the plan of the party organization.

The representatives present in the workshop were addressed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, State President Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, Deputy Chief Ministers of the state Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, State Co-incharge Sanjeev Chaurasia and State General Secretary (Organization) Dharampal Singh. On this occasion, former State President Dr. Ramapati Ram Tripathi, Surya Pratap Shahi, Swatantra Dev Singh, former Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma, along with national office bearers of the party from Uttar Pradesh, State office bearers, regional presidents, regional general secretaries, district incharges, district presidents, state presidents of fronts, state media incharges, co-incharges, state spokespersons, MPs in Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha of the party, MLAs, Legislative Council members, conveners and co-conveners of departments of the party organization, conveners and co-conveners of cells, District Panchayat Presidents, Mayors of Municipal Corporations, conveners and co-conveners of IT and social media and other prominent party officials including chairmen and vice-chairmen of boards, corporations and commissions participated.
