Randeep said in his statement that the relationship between Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt may have started during the same time. He said, “If both came together at that time and their love story started from there, I am happy for them. I wish both of them best.”

Randeep also talked about the plot of the film and said that although the center of the film was on women exploitation, his character was the soul of Mahabir Bhati. “Perhaps the Strategy was that the promotion was kept around Alia, but when the film reached the people, everyone felt that if Mahabir Bhati did not leave, the film could not leave.”
