But recently Ram Gopal Varma narrated such an incident related to the recording of this song, which people are surprised to know.

5 day ‘Goa Trip’ and Rahman’s silence

The story is such that Ram Gopal Varma was very serious about this song. He needed peace for this, so he asked A.R. Rehman away from the hustle and bustle of Mumbai Goa Decided to take it. A good hotel was booked there so that Rahman could relax and compose the tune.

RGV says, “We stayed there for 5 days. I would go to Rahman every day in the hope that the tune would be ready. But every time he would say that he is thinking now, will play it tomorrow. 5 days passed and we started preparing to return without any tune.”

Ramu felt that perhaps the atmosphere was not right, that is why the tune could not be composed. But the real shock came on his return.

Big revelation at the airport!

While returning from Goa, at the airport, Rahman very innocently said to Ramu – “Ramu, next time we go out for composing, please book a room which has Television May it not happen.”

Hearing this, the ground slipped under the feet of Ram Gopal Varma. He asked, “Why?” Rahman replied “Because for the last 5 days I was just watching films, I did not do any work. TV disturbs me a lot.”
