Summer special trains will run between Lucknow-Delhi and Varanasi, see complete schedule and timing.

News India Live, Digital Desk: There is relief news for the travelers planning to go home or travel during summer holidays. In view of the huge crowd and waiting list in trains, Northern Railway has decided to run special ‘Summer Special’ trains on Lucknow, Varanasi and Ayodhya routes. The operation of these trains will start from mid-April and will continue till mid-July, which will make it easier for passengers going to Delhi and Varanasi to get confirmed seats. Senior officials of Northern Railway Lucknow Division have released a detailed time table in this regard.

Lucknow-New Delhi Special (04203/04204)

For passengers traveling between Lucknow and New Delhi, train number 04203/04204 will be operated from 20 April 2026 to 13 July 2026. This train will depart from Lucknow every Monday at 08:05 am and reach New Delhi at 06:30 pm via Balamau, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Moradabad, Amroha and Ghaziabad. In return, the same train will depart from New Delhi for Lucknow on Monday night itself. AC, sleeper and general coaches of all categories will be available in this train.

Varanasi-Delhi Special (04209/04210)

The operation of train number 04209 for passengers going from Varanasi to Delhi will start from April 15. This train will depart from Varanasi at 10:15 pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and reach Lucknow at 03:30 am via Rae Bareli, after which it will reach Delhi at 01:30 pm. In the return direction, train number 04210 will leave Delhi at 07:25 pm every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from April 16 to July 16, reaching Lucknow at 03:50 am and Varanasi at 09:50 am the next day.

Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Special (04213/04214)

Special arrangements have also been made for those going to Anand Vihar (Delhi) via Ayodhya and Lucknow. Train number 04214 will run from Anand Vihar at 09:00 am on every Monday and Friday from 17th April to 13th July. This train will reach Lucknow at 06:20 pm and Ayodhya Cantt at 10:00 pm. Similarly, special trips will be organized from Ayodhya to Anand Vihar on scheduled days. With the commencement of these trains, not only Lucknow but also the passengers of Barabanki, Sultanpur and surrounding districts will get great relief.
