After a long wait and postponing the release date twice, the new release date of Yash’s upcoming action-thriller film ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grownups’ has finally been officially announced. This year 2026 is going to be no less than a double bonanza for the fans of Rocking Star Yash, because not one but two of his mega budget films are going to hit the theaters this year.
‘Toxic’ will storm the box office on August 26
‘Toxic’, being made under the direction of Geetu Mohandas, will now be released on the big screen on August 26, 2026. It is worth noting that the release date of this most awaited film has been changed twice before. It was initially scheduled to release on March 19, but due to the ongoing geopolitical tension in the Middle East, the makers pushed it to June 4. Now, removing all the hurdles, the new and final date of August has been locked. According to trade analysts, Toxic will prove to be one of the biggest blockbuster films of this year.
A strong star cast will be seen with Nayanthara and Kiara Advani.
‘Toxic’ is completely a high-octane crime action-thriller film, in which the audience will get a dose of tremendous action and suspense. Many big actresses of Bollywood and South will be seen sharing the screen with Yash in this Pan India film. The first part of the film ‘Ramayana’ being made under the direction of Nitesh Tiwari is also going to be released on the special occasion of Diwali this year. In this mega budget film, Yash will be seen in the powerful and ferocious avatar of ‘Ravana’. Recently, a teaser of the film was released, in which a spectacular glimpse of Ravana’s ‘Pushpak Viman’ was seen. There is already a huge buzz on social media about Yash’s Raavan look. Whereas, the second part of this film will be released next year i.e. in 2027.
