Kanpur, August 21 (HS). IIT Kanpur is going to organize the National Open Quiz (UNOSQ) 2024 on the occasion of its annual sports festival 'Udghosh'. This quiz will be held in two phases from September 1 to 8 and students from class 5 to 12 from all over the country will participate and show their talent. These students' logical thinking, problem solving abilities and general knowledge will be tested. The winners of the quiz will be given various prizes along with cash.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has announced to conduct the National Open School Quiz (UNOSQ) 2024 as part of its annual sports festival 'Udghosh'. The quiz will have participants divided into four age groups. Little Champs (Classes 5-6), Super Novas (Classes 7-8), The Titans (Classes 9-10), and Elite Explorers (Classes 11-12). The top 100 successful students of the first stage will advance to the second stage. The first stage will be held on September 1, where participants will engage in a series of challenging questions designed to test their logical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and general knowledge. The top 100 students from this round will advance to the second stage which is scheduled on September 8. A session was organised with 2023 UPSC topper and IIT alumnus IAS Aditya Srivastava to help students prepare better for the quiz. This session provided attendees with information on effective study techniques, time management, and the importance of perseverance.
Team Udghosh's Event and Competition Heads Vanshika and Suraj told on Wednesday that our aim is to provide a platform to the youth to interact with others and participate in healthy competition. This competition will test their ability and knowledge. Participants will get an opportunity to showcase their logical thinking, problem-solving abilities and general knowledge. We are sure that this will be a valuable exercise for every participant. The announcement and felicitation ceremony of the winners will be held on October 4 at the IIT Kanpur campus. The winners will be given prizes worth more than Rs 50,000 as well as various gifts. Registration for UNOSQ is open till August 28.
