Deputy Chief Minister Shri Maurya paid a courtesy visit to the Honorable Cabinet Minister of the Tripura Government, Shri Tinku Roy (Minister of Youth Affairs, Sports, and Social Welfare), at his residence. Minister Shri Tinku Roy warmly welcomed the Deputy Chief Minister by presenting him with a traditional Tripuri garment. During the meeting, the two leaders had a fruitful discussion on development projects and organizational matters in both states.
Shri Maurya said that they exchanged ideas on the models of public welfare schemes being implemented in Uttar Pradesh and the rapid development work underway in Tripura.
Finally, he said, “I am overwhelmed to have visited this sacred land of Tripura and offered prayers at the Kasbeshwari Mata temple. Under the leadership of the double-engine government, Tripura is reaching new heights of development. It was a pleasure to meet Shri Tinku Roy and discuss the state’s development and public welfare issues.”
