In the same sequence, it came to notice that a minor child molester whose Instagram id: prayagraj_hub_20 posted a misleading video on social media on Facebook and Instagram depicting an old unconfirmed video related to the current Magh Mela-2026. An attempt was made to tarnish the image of organizing the Magh program. Taking the above fact seriously, Police Station Cyber Crime, Commissionerate Prayagraj has registered an FIR in this regard under Section 196 and 196(1)(b) of IPC. And a case has been registered under Section 66(D) IT Act. After registration of the case, legal proceedings are underway by taking into custody the child molester who operates the related Facebook profile.
