Say goodbye to bumpy roads, now the expressway network is going to be laid in Mainpuri

Imagine how a canal is made to connect two big rivers, then how fertile the surrounding land will become. The same is going to happen with the roads of Uttar Pradesh, and Mainpuri is becoming the center of this change.

Till now, there was a large distance between the two biggest development arteries of the state-Agra-Lucknow Expressway and Ganga Expressway. To bridge this distance, the work of creating a new 92 km long ‘Link Expressway’ has now started landing on the ground. This new road will act like a lifeline (lifeline) that will directly connect western UP to Purvanchal.

What does this mean for Mainpuri?

This expressway is bringing a huge gift for Mainpuri district. This magnificent road will pass through the land of 11 villages in the district, which will change the appearance of these villages forever. The villages of where people used to struggle to reach the main roads till now, now a convoy of superfast vehicles will pass near their fields.

The administration has also taken the first step to turn this dream into reality. In these 11 villages of Mainpuri and Karhal tehsils, the survey of land has been started and the work of measurement (verification) has been started. This is an indication that soon the land acquisition work will be completed by giving compensation to the farmers.

What will be the benefit of the common man?

• For farmers: Along with getting proper compensation of the land, new avenues of progress will open for them.

• For passengers: The journey which is still roaming around and completed in hours will now be reduced to minutes. People coming from Delhi or Agra will now be able to go straight towards Prayagraj or Varanasi without stopping.

• Development of the area: Wherever the expressway passes, new opportunities for industry, market and employment are created automatically. This expressway will bring a new winds of development in Mainpuri and surrounding areas.

This is not just a road, but the way of Mainpuri’s future, on which it will reach a new floor of district development.
