Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan’s web series “Bads of Bollywood” is in discussion these days. This series of Aryan is being highly appreciated for its meta jokes. In the first episode, Aryan Khan played the role of a policeman who arrests the actor in the drug case. Now Aryan is seen getting entangled in this case.
Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer Sameer Wankhede has filed a defamation suit in the Delhi High Court. The petition has been filed against Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan’s company Red Chillies Entertainment Private Limited and OTT platform Netflix. Wankhede has alleged in his complaint that an attempt is being made to tarnish his image.

According to reports, Sameer has alleged that the web series aired on Netflix, “Bads of Bollywood”, is based on false and malicious content. In his complaint, Sameer has alleged that the series depicted the drug prevention agencies in a misleading and negative manner, which may reduce public confidence in law enforcement agencies.
Sameer Wankhede said that the series has been deliberately made to tarnish his reputation, while Aryan Khan’s case is still pending in the Bombay High Court and Mumbai’s NDPS Special Court.
Accused of insulting the national symbol
Wankhede also alleged that a character in the series makes obscene gestures after chanting the slogan “Satyamev Jayate”. Doing so is an insult to the national symbol and a violation of the National Honor Prevention Act, 1971, which has punitive provisions.
Additionally, it has been claimed that the content of the series violates several sections of the IT Act and the Indian Penal Code (IPC), as it has vulgar and objectionable views that hurt national sentiments. In his petition, Sameer has asked for compensation of ₹ 2 crore (Rs 2 crore) and has promised to donate this amount to the Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital for the treatment of cancer patients.
