Hisar, June 4 (HS). The counting process of Hisar parliamentary constituency was completed fairly, transparently, systematically and peacefully. Congress party candidate Jaiprakash won by defeating his nearest rival BJP candidate Ranjit Singh Chautala by 63 thousand 381 votes. Returning Officer Pradeep Dahiya gave the certificate to the winning candidate. On this occasion, General Election Observer Gopal Chand, Counting Observers Mige Kamki and Anurag Kaushal Singh, ACUT Kanika Goyal and all Assistant Returning Officers were also present.

Returning Officer Pradeep Dahiya informed during this time that out of the 9 assembly constituencies falling under the Hisar parliamentary constituency, the counting of votes of seven assembly constituencies was done in the counting centers set up in the local Mahavir Stadium and Panchayat Bhawan, and the counting of votes of Bawanikheda and Uchana assembly constituencies was done in the counting centers set up in the respective assembly constituencies of Bhiwani and Jind district.

In order to ensure that the counting process is completed in a fair, transparent and systematic manner, the Returning Officer was monitoring every activity inside and outside the counting centres. He visited all the counting centres before the counting began and took stock of the arrangements and even after that, he kept visiting the counting centres from time to time and kept an eye on the entire counting process. Extensive security arrangements were made for a peaceful counting process. Security personnel were deployed at every nook and corner around the counting centres. For monitoring, adequate CCTV cameras have been installed at every counting centre as well as videography of the counting process has also been done.
