News India Live, Digital Desk: Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor is continuously in the headlines for his upcoming grandest film ‘Ramayana’. The first official glimpse of the film is going to be released in India on April 2, but before that the makers organized a special event in Hollywood’s bastion Los Angeles (LA). The event showcased some exclusive visuals from the film to the international audience, where Ranbir Kapoor shared his experience of playing the character of Lord Shri Ram for the first time.

The film’s director Nitish Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra were also present along with Ranbir Kapoor in this special screening and Q&A session held in Los Angeles. While extolling the glory of Lord Ram in front of the foreign audience, Ranbir said, “Lord Ram has been the conscience keeper and guide of billions of people around the world for centuries. Even after we leave this world, his influence will remain the same for eternity. He teaches us the importance of human spirit, compassion, courage, religion and forgiveness even in adverse circumstances.”

Explaining the depth of Hinduism to the foreign audience, Ranbir further said, “He is called ‘Maryada Purushottam’, which simply means the world’s most ideal man.”

The first glimpse of the film will be released on April 2.

According to reports, on the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti on April 2, the makers will launch the first teaser of the film titled ‘RAMA’. The censor board has passed this 2 minute 38 second teaser with ‘U’ certificate. According to the information coming out from the LA event, the audience was mesmerized to see Ranbir Kapoor in the gentle and calm avatar of Lord Ram on screen, while Kannada superstar Yash was in the very aggressive avatar of Ravana.

This film, being made under the direction of Nitish Tiwari, is being counted among the most expensive and grandiose films in the history of Indian cinema. Veteran actors like Ranbir Kapoor (Ram), Sai Pallavi (Sita), Yash (Ravana), Sunny Deol (Hanuman), Ravi Dubey (Lakshman), Arun Govil (Dasarath) and Lara Dutta (Kaikayi) will be seen in it. Hollywood’s legendary music composer Hans Zimmer is composing the music of this film in collaboration with AR Rahman for the first time. ‘Ramayana: Part 1’ will hit theaters worldwide on Diwali 2026.
