Sitapur, December 19: Giving a big relief to the sugarcane farmers, Ramgarh Sugar Mill located in Gondlamau development block on Friday has sent a total payment of Rs 19.42 crore directly to the bank accounts of the farmers for the sugarcane purchased from December 06 to December 12, 2025. As soon as the payment was received, there was a wave of happiness among thousands of farmers in the area. This will provide financial support to farmers in preparation for the upcoming crop and in agricultural work.
On this occasion, Senior General Manager (Sugarcane) of the mill, U.K. Pathak appealed to the farmers to supply sugarcane as per the slip. He said that it is very important to maintain the quality of sugarcane. For this, only clean, neat and fresh sugarcane should be sent to the mill after removing the shoot, roots, soil and leaves.
The General Manager said that while making bundles of sugarcane, Juna should be prepared only from dry leaves and water shoots and Bhaeda should be separated and used as animal fodder. He also urged the farmers to sow improved sugarcane varieties in more area, so that both production and income can increase.
