A very heartbreaking news has come out from Moga district of Punjab, which has spread sensation and panic in the entire city. Dr. Rajendra Suri, the father of famous Punjabi film actress Tania, was shot in her clinic by some unknown assailants in broad daylight, killing her on the spot.
The incident is being reported on Saturday evening, When Dr. Suri was watching patients at the clinic in his Dashmesh Nagar. According to eyewitnesses, three unknown assailants came to the clinic, and pretended to meet Dr. Suri, calling themselves a patient. When the doctor started looking at them, those criminals brutally opened fire and Dr. Suri fell on the ground due to the bullet. The attackers escaped from the spot.
Hearing the sound of bullets, clinics and people around immediately came into action. Police was informed, and Dr. Suri was immediately rushed to the local hospital. However, due to excessive blood flow and serious injuries, doctors declared him dead.
Police force reached the spot and started investigation. The police have also found a shell of 32 bore from the spot. Efforts are being made to identify criminals by investigating CCTV footage and talking to eyewitnesses. Moga SP Dharman Preet Singh informed that the matter is under investigation and the reasons for the murder have not been ascertained yet.
