There is strictness regarding time in the South

In an exclusive conversation, Priyamani shares her experiences in both the industries. He told that time is very important in the South Film Industry and everything happens on time there. He said, “In the South, if the call time is 9 am, it means the first shot will be taken exactly at 9 am. Everyone reaches the set by 7:30 or 7:45, so that they get their make-up and hair done on time and get ready for the shot. Everything is very disciplined there.”

In Bollywood people come at 9 o’clock

While talking about the environment of Bollywood, Priyamani said that the system here is a bit different and she was quite surprised to understand it in the beginning. Sharing an interesting anecdote from her early days, she said, “Initially it was like a culture shock for me. As per my habit, I used to get ready by 7:30 in the morning, but then I was told, ‘Madam, people come here at 9 o’clock. There is no need for you to come so early’.”

He clarified that the call time of 9 o’clock in Bollywood means that people start reaching the sets at that time.

Now both have adapted to the environment

However, Priyamani also said that now she has completely adapted to the working style of both the industries and she no longer faces any problem with it. “I have learned it, albeit with difficulty. Even now, if the call time in Bollywood is 9 o’clock, I reach by 8:30 or 8:45 because I don’t want to keep anyone waiting,” she said, laughing.
