Hathras, 24 October (HIST). In the case of murder of a youth that came to light on October 14 in Bisawar area, the police and SOG team have arrested an accused and revealed the incident on Thursday. The young man was shot dead to avenge the murder of his cousin. The police is busy searching for the other absconding accused in this case.
Surendra Singh, son of Bachchu Singh, resident of Nagla Chhatti Bisawar, had registered a case against unknown people in the case of murder of cousin Harendra alias Hathi by shooting him 11 days ago. Regarding the incident, Superintendent of Police Nipun Aggarwal had directed the Inspector in-charge of Bisawar to uncover the incident and arrest the accused under the direction of the Additional Superintendent of Police and the leadership of CO Sadabad.
SOG and surveillance team were also deployed to uncover this incident. On the basis of evidence obtained from the spot, technical intelligence and interrogation, the police along with the SOG team succeeded in uncovering the incident. In this case, Lokendra Singh, son of Ashok Kumar, resident of Nagla Chhatti was arrested by the police and SOG team along with one pistol 315 bore, one live cartridge.
Sadabad CO said that the accused Lokendra, arrested during police interrogation, told that the deceased Harendra alias Hathi had killed his cousin Dharmendra in 2012. Harendra also went to jail in this case. To avenge the murder of his cousin, he (Lokendra) along with his associates Satish Chahar alias Kalia, Pappu alias Dharamveer and Vivek had planned to murder Harendra. On the night of 13 October, the accused called Harendra alias Hathi on the pretext of giving him liquor. Harendra was made to sit near Kadamkhandi temple and made him drink alcohol and then shot him dead. Lokendra, who was caught, has gone to jail on robbery charges in 2019. His co-accused, who are absconding in the murder case, are being searched.
The team that revealed the murder incident included the team of inspector in-charge Satyendra Raghav and SOG in-charge Girish Chandra Gautam.
