Mumbai: Hindu organizations have warned that if Aurangzeb’s tomb is not removed in Khultabad, Maharashtra, it will be demolished like the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya. He has warned that the government should remove this grave as soon as possible or else we will be forced to do kar seva.
Demonstrations were organized by Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal at district and taluka headquarters across the state to demand Aurangzeb’s tomb to be removed. Fadnavis replied that he agreed with his feelings. However, legal procedures have to be followed to demolish this mausoleum. This mausoleum was earlier declared a protected site during the Congress rule.
