‘Fire is raining from the sky’ in UP, heat wave alert in more than 40 districts, know when will you get relief from the scorching sun

News India Live, Digital Desk: The heat has taken a severe form in Uttar Pradesh. In most parts of the state, the temperature has crossed 42 to 45 degrees Celsius, due to which life has been badly affected. According to the report of ‘Live Hindustan’, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued orange and yellow alert of severe heat wave for more than 40 districts of UP. There is silence on the streets in the afternoon and the gusts of hot wind have made it difficult for people to leave their homes.

Heat wave wreaks most havoc in these districts

According to the Meteorological Department, the situation is most serious in the districts of western and central Uttar Pradesh.

Major affected districts: The mercury is breaking records in the areas of Kanpur, Prayagraj, Jhansi, Agra, Varanasi, Lucknow and Bundelkhand.

Heat wave alert: Hot westerly winds are likely to blow in these areas for the next 48 hours, which may further increase the heat wave. The administration has advised people not to go out between 12 noon and 4 pm.

Relief news: Weather may change from April 27

Amidst the scorching heat, the Meteorological Department has also given relief news. There is a possibility of a new Western Disturbance becoming active in the state.

Changes from 27th April: Meteorologists estimate that the movement of clouds will start in many parts of Uttar Pradesh from April 27.

Thunderstorm and drizzle: There are indications of dust storm and light drizzle in some districts. Due to this, the temperature may drop by 2 to 3 degrees, which will give some relief to the people from the scorching heat.

Health department advice

In view of the increasing heat, health experts have asked to take special precautions to avoid ‘heat stroke’.

Consume as much water, buttermilk and ORS as possible.

While going out, cover your head with cotton cloth and wear light colored clothes.
