Film industry affected by attacks, promotion of ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ re -release canceled

Aamir Khan remained absent from film screening

‘Andaz Apna Apna’ is being released on 25 April 2025, 30 years after its original release. The film’s hero Aamir Khan did not appear at the screening. In such a situation, questions started to arise about the superstar. Aamir Khan said, ‘I was reading the news about what happened in Pahalgam, Kashmir. I am very sad about the brutal murder of innocent people. ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ was first released in theaters on 4 November 1994. After facing many difficulties, it became and after release flopped at the box office. However, the film was later praised and is now considered a cult classic. Talking about this, Aamir said, ‘Raj Santoshi and I were the only people who had faith in this film. We liked it very much. So when it did not succeed, we became very sad and then it became the biggest success in domestic entertainment. Raj and I finally got our remaining money.

The children of the Creator said a lot.

The children of ‘Andaz Apna Apna’, Vinay Sinha’s children, have also spoken about the release of the film and not promoting it by the stars. The three children of Vinay Sinha say that Salman Khan’s idea was to release the film again. He advised that instead of making a sequel, the film should be released in theaters. However, apart from sharing posts on social media, no stars associated with the film have supported the makers in any way in the promotion. Director Rajkumar Santoshi has not shared a single video to promote ‘Andaz Apna’. He said, “We have not spoken to him for the last six months.” He is busy making the film “Lahore 1947”. In fact, they did not give us any time. It is being told that his new film is being fully recited. He has not come forward for promotion.
