
Farmers have been given huge compensation during the land acquisition for the construction of Noida International Airport. So far, more than Rs 8,000 crore has been paid to 7,000 farmers in exchange for their land. This compensation has brought a big change in the lifestyle of farmers.
3,000 farmers got compensation in the first phase

In the first phase, farmers of Rohi, Parohi, Dayanatpur, Ranhaira, Banwari Bans, and Kishorepur villages gave their land. - land:

4,000 farmers will benefit in the second phase

Farmers have bought cars and bullet bikes with the compensation money. - New Investment:
- New land has been purchased in other districts for farming.
- Many farmers have invested in businesses and shops.
- Inclination towards business:
- Farmers have started businesses to increase their income.
Most land for airport from villages
Most of the land for Noida International Airport has been taken from farmers of nearby villages.
- Farmers were given compensation in exchange for 2,420 hectares of land acquired in the first phase.
