The government has achieved a major success in conducting the government job examinations in Uttar Pradesh in a completely transparent and fair manner. A big examination mafia network, which was trying to commit burglary and fraud during the Trained Graduate (TGT) recruitment examination held in the state, has been busted. Due to modern Artificial Intelligence (AI) cameras and strict biometric verification technology, a total of 11 fake candidates (solvers) appearing in the examination in place of others from different districts of the state have been identified. The prompt police administration caught 9 of these fraudsters on the spot and sent them to jail, while 2 accused managed to escape from the examination centers by dodging the police, in search of whom intensive raids are going on.
Every moment monitoring from AI integrated control room, Munnabhai trapped in the trap
Out of the total 15 subjects of the TGT recruitment examination, the written examination of eight major subjects was conducted in two different shifts on Wednesday. This time, to make the examination completely leak-proof, a state-of-the-art ‘AI Integrated Control Command Room’ was set up at the Commission’s headquarters. In the presence of Commission Chairman Dr. Prashant Kumar, Secretary, Controller of Examinations and all the senior officials, live monitoring was being done through AI cameras installed at all the centers of the state. During this high-tech checking, in the first shift, two fake candidates each from Lucknow, Bareilly and Chitrakoot and one each from Jaunpur and Mirzapur were caught red handed. Whereas, in the second shift, two salwars were caught from Lucknow and one from Hathras.
Salvors’ bet failed in these major colleges of the capital
Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, emerged as the biggest center of this fraud, where four accused alone were caught. When biometric verification of the candidates was going on during the first shift at the famous Vidyant Hindu Inter College Center in Aminabad, a mismatch between the thumb impression and data of a candidate Jitendra Singh Yadav was found. Similarly, Salwar Rang Bahadur from DAV Degree College of Naka area, Rajesh from Bappa Srinarayan Vocational Girls Inter College of Charbagh and Mantesh Singh from Arya Kanya Pathshala Inter College of Mahanagar were caught by the police.
Entry by changing photo in Aadhaar and identity card, but biometric exposed
In Saraswati Inter College, Hathras, a candidate was caught in the second shift for not matching the biometrics of the identity card. On the other hand, two very surprising cases came to light in Bareilly district. During the Social Science examination at Islamiaan Girls Inter College, when a suspicious youth posted in Room No. 18 was biometrically examined, his data did not match that of the main candidate. During strict interrogation, the accused revealed his name as Pramod Kumar (resident of Azamgarh). He confessed that he had come to appear for the exam in place of Vimal Kumar, the original candidate from Farrukhabad, and for this a deal was fixed for Rs 1.5 lakh. Accused Pramod had gained entry into the center by mixing his photo with the original candidate’s identity card, but he could not dodge the digital system.
46 year old coaching operator caught after giving complete examination, had taken risk for ₹ 5000
All limits of fraud have been crossed at Bareilly College Examination Centre. Here, 46 year old middle aged Ram Manohar Prajapati arrived to take the exam in place of 33 year old original candidate Ravindra. The cunning Ram Manohar somehow dodged the biometric process by using a fake PAN card made in the name of Ravindra and gave the entire examination sitting in the examination hall. But after the exam was over, when the main agency doing biometric verification matched the data again, a huge discrepancy was found in his age and details. Initially he kept calling himself Ravindra, but as soon as the police arrived, he surrendered. The accused told that he runs his own coaching center in Manphodganj, Prayagraj and had fallen into the trap of this gang due to the immediate need of just ₹ 5000. At present, on the complaint of the principals of the concerned schools, the police have registered a case under serious sections under the Fraud and Examination Act and have started investigating the horoscope of the entire Solver gang.
