Eid Clash at the Box Office: ‘Bade Mian Chhoti Mian’ gains the benefit of the edge, ‘Maidan’ is slowly doing amazing!

Eid clash at the box office: The opportunity of Eid has always been a big earning season for Bollywood. This year, two big films were released simultaneously on Eid 2024-Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s multi-starrer action film ‘Bade Mian Chhoti Mian’ (BMCM) And Ajay Devgan’s Sport-Drama ‘Field’Trade pundits are eyeing the box office performance of both these films.

According to reports, initial estimates of the first day of release suggests that ‘Bade Mian Chhoti Mian’ has earned an estimated net of Rs 15 to 16 crore, while Ajay Devgan’s ‘Maidan’ (including his paid previews) has earned an early Rs 7 to 8 crore. ‘Bade Mian Chhoti Mian’ seems to be more benefiting from the business of Eid due to its banging action and multi-starrer cast. It is a ‘Mass’ appeal film to be released on a big holiday, which often performs better on holiday occasions.

At the same time, ‘Maidan’ is a serious and emotional sport-drama, whose story is based on true events. Although it is getting a lot of praise from the critics, the speed of its earnings is slightly slower than ‘Bade Mian Chhoti Mian’. Such films often depend on the mouth of Word (positive discussion among the audience), due to which their earnings gradually increase.
