Just before this, famous comedian Samay Raina also had to face fierce public anger for crossing the limits in a special episode of his popular YouTube show ‘India’s Got Latent’, after which, under immense pressure, he had to close his hit show forever. Apart from this, Munawar Farooqui, Kunal Kamra and famous social media influencer Elvish Yadav have also faced sharp criticism from the law and social media in the past due to their statements and derogatory content. This latest case has once again raised the debate whether anyone can be given unlimited and unlimited freedom of expression in the name of comedy?
