During this, the Chief Minister listened very closely to the problems of more than 100 complainants and gave strict directions to the officials for their prompt disposal. The Chief Minister made it clear that no eligible person of the state should be deprived of the benefits of government schemes.
Assurance of housing to the needy and treatment to the sick During the public darshan, a woman shared with the Chief Minister the pain of not having a house. On this, CM Yogi consoled them and assured them that they will soon be provided permanent housing under the government scheme. At the same time, the Chief Minister told the people who came seeking financial help for the treatment of serious diseases, “The treatment of any poor person will not be stopped due to lack of money.” He directed the officials to prepare an estimate for high level treatment of such patients and send it to the government as soon as possible, so that the assistance amount can be released on time.
Strict instructions to police and administrative officials The Chief Minister himself reached the people sitting on chairs outside Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan and took their application forms. He instructed the officers to take impartial and timely action in police related matters. The Chief Minister said that the solution to public problems should not only be on paper but should be satisfactory on the ground. While caressing the children who came for Janata Darshan, the CM gave them chocolates and inspired them to study diligently.
Target to complete development projects before monsoon Earlier on Wednesday evening, while holding a meeting with administrative officials at Gorakhnath Temple, CM Yogi reviewed the ongoing development works in the district. He instructed that there should be no compromise with the quality of construction works. The Chief Minister directed that the open-air works of all major projects should be completed before the start of the rainy season, so that the public does not face inconvenience during the monsoon.
Preparation for inauguration and foundation stone laying The Chief Minister indicated that during his next visit to Gorakhpur, he may inaugurate the multilevel parking cum commercial complex built in Bandhu Singh Park of Ghantaghar. Besides, the foundation stone of the proposed commercial complex in Pandeyhata area can also be laid by his hands. He told the officials that any laxity or negligence in development works will not be tolerated.
