New industrial corridor in Badaun: If you live in Badaun or its surrounding areas, then this news is going to bring a big smile on your face. Till now, a story of progress is being written in Badaun, which was known only for farming, mentha and zari-zardozi work, which will change the entire picture of this place.

Ganga Expressway, which till now was just a high-speed road, is now going to become a path of progress for Badaun. The government has started the work of building a huge industrial corridor in Dataganj and Binawar areas of Badaun, along the Ganga Expressway.

Where is this new industrial city being located?

This is no small matter, but a huge project. Two places have been chosen for this:

  1. Ghatpuri area of Binawar: Arrangements for about 1600 bighas of land have been made here.
  2. Papad village of Dataganj: Here also about 1000 bighas of land has been taken.

Even though the pace of work is still a little slow, the arrangement of land is almost complete, which is the biggest task.

40 companies are already in line, 50,000 people will get work

The biggest benefit of this project will be in the form of employment for the people here.

  • Target of 200 companies: UPDA’s goal is that more than 200 companies, including small and big, should set up their factories in this industrial corridor.
  • 40 applications have come: Big companies have started showing interest in coming here, and so far 40 companies have applied to set up their factories.
  • 50,000 jobs expected: According to an estimate, when this corridor is completely settled, about 50,000 people will get direct employment here. This means that now the youth here will not need to go to Delhi, Noida or Mumbai for work.

The junction of Ganga Expressway being built near Binawar will work like icing on the cake, which will make it much easier for companies to transport their goods.

Land prices increased 4 times overnight!

As soon as this project was announced, the prices of land here started skyrocketing. The land which earlier no one was asking for even Rs 2 lakh per bigha, today its price has reached Rs 8 lakh per bigha. Those farmers whose land has been saved from going into this project, consider that they have got silver. Some people are starting their own small businesses on their remaining land, while others are selling it at exorbitant prices.

The first right of the people of Badaun!

The officials of the Industries Department have made it clear that the first priority for setting up factories in this industrial corridor will be given to the entrepreneurs (businessmen) of Badaun district only. Only after the people here apply, people from other districts will be given a chance. This step will give a new pace to the development of the district.
