Ayodhya, 23 October (Hindus). The anti-corruption team of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raided the Cantonment Board office late on Tuesday night. JE Amit was arrested from here. Apart from these, Mate Vijay Kumar was caught taking a bribe of ten thousand rupees.
According to the information, CBI's anti-corruption team conducted the raid late last night. The office and JE's residence were searched. After this proceeding which continued till Wednesday, she took the accused with herself. During this time the police were kept away.
It is noteworthy that on September 6, the CBI team had raided the Cantonment Board office regarding a tender scam worth crores of rupees. The investigation of the case is ongoing. As of now, no action has been taken against anyone in the matter.
On the other hand, on the complaint of a contractor, the CBI team came here on Tuesday afternoon. The team had started weaving a net to arrest the accused. One accused was caught red handed.
