Mumbai: Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force has received a good release worldwide. But at the same time the film was released in many parts of Asia like UAE. The release has been banned in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman etc. However, the reason for the ban has not been officially clarified. But according to Bollywood insiders, the film is based on the tension between India and Pakistan. That’s why earlier also the countries of the Middle East had banned such films. The film focuses on the first air strike by India during the 1965 India–Pakistan war.
On the other hand, it is also being said that Sky Force is not a nationalist film and Pakistan has not been criticized in it.
When this happened in other Bollywood films, Middle Eastern countries banned the films. But it is surprising that this happened with Sky Force.
Films like Fighter, Article 370, Tiger 3, South’s film Beast etc. were banned because these films were based on India-Pakistan relations and terrorism.
