Aita Tennis: Uttar Pradesh's Krishna reaches the finals, will compete with West Bengal's Kabir – News India Live

Lucknow, 15 February (HS). With victory in the semi-finals of SRGI Under-12 Boys and Girls All India Aita Tennis Championship, Krishna Singh of Uttar Pradesh entered the finals of boys singles and Shubhi Ranjan and Siddhi Singh of girls category. Aarav Shukla and Atharva Goyal of Uttar Pradesh were runners-up in boys doubles.

In the championship organized at Kamlesh Shukla Tennis Academy, Avadh School, Gomtinagar, in the semi-finals of boys singles, fourth seed Krishna Singh of Uttar Pradesh defeated Tejas Singh of Uttar Pradesh by 6-3, 6-1. In the final, Krishna Singh will face second seed Kabir Parekh of West Bengal. Kabir defeated Reyansh Bhalla of Delhi 6-1, 6-1 in the second semi-final.

In the final of girls singles, Shubhi Ranjan of Uttar Pradesh will face Siddhi Singh of Uttar Pradesh tomorrow. In the first semi-final of girls' singles, Shubhi Ranjan defeated Aditri Singh of Uttar Pradesh by 6-3, 6-4 and in the second semi-final, Siddhi Singh defeated Soundarya Jaiswal of Uttar Pradesh by 6-2, 6-2. The boys' doubles title was won by Satwik Singh of Delhi and Kabir Parekh of West Bengal, who defeated Aarav Shukla and Atharva Goyal of Uttar Pradesh 6-4, 6-2 in the final.
