Shahrukh is a ‘Live Wire’ (SRK is a Live Wire)

Ram Gopal Varma recently told in an interview that Shahrukh Khan is like a “Live Wire”. That means they have enthusiasm like current and immense energy.

RGV says, “Shah Rukh’s energy is very high (high voltage). When he comes on screen, he dominates, his body language, his aggression, his charm, everything is very loud and clear.”
This is the thing which does not match with Ramu’s film making style.

Both have North-South style

The real problem lies in “film making style”. Ram Gopal Varma is known as Realistic And intense to the cinema.
Ramu explained, “The characters in my films are very quiet and serious. I want the camera to move and the actor to remain still. Whereas with Shahrukh, he moves a lot in the frame, he shakes the screen with his acting. My style is ‘subtle’ and Shahrukh is ‘larger than life’.”

To put it simply, Ramu feels that Shah Rukh’s immense star power and acting style might not fit into his “dark and serious” stories. He feels that he will not be able to give the right direction to that stormy energy of Shahrukh.

So will they never come together?

It is not that there is any quarrel between them. Ramu respects Shahrukh’s success and his acting a lot. It’s just a matter of ‘match making’. Just like we do not mix everything in food, similarly RGV feels that he does not have the right ‘recipe’ for the ‘masala’ of Shahrukh.

Well, imagine, if Ram Gopal Varma ever makes a dreaded gangster film with Shahrukh, how would it be? The world is based on hope, maybe someday this miracle will happen!
