Mumbai: Rashmika Mandanna has replaced Samantha Ruth Prabhu in Ayushmann Khurrana's film 'Vampires of Vijayanagar'. Samantha's role has been cut short due to lack of dates.
The producer of this film is Dinesh Vijan, who has made horror comedy films including 'Munjya' and 'Stree'. The responsibility of directing this film has been given to 'Munjya' director Aditya Satpodar.
The script of the film is currently being written and pre-production work will begin soon and shooting will begin in the month of November.
Both Samantha and Rashmika became famous among Hindi audiences with the film 'Pushpa'. But then Samantha's career took a backseat due to myositis while Rashmika is getting one Bollywood project after another.
