Agniveer Yojana should be considered | Live Updates, Unveiling the Latest India News Trends

Even before the formation of the NDA government, surprising statements are coming from the allies. Senior JDU leader KC Tyagi said that his party supports the 'One Nation, One Election' and UCC agenda, but wants a review of the Agniveer scheme, which he believes has affected the elections. The Agneepath scheme launched in June 2022 recruits youth in the army for four years, of which 25% will be retained and the rest will be left out. KC Tyagi has increased the tension of the BJP by making this statement, whose support is extremely important for the survival of the NDA government, he also said that he has no problem with the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), but he wants to talk to everyone. He claimed that Nitish Kumar had written a letter to the Law Commission on UCC. He said that we are not against it but a comprehensive discussion is needed. He claimed that we have supported One Nation One Election, Home Minister Amit Shah said that UCC will be implemented in the third term of the Modi government.

Last month, former Army Chief General VK Singh had suggested that some changes could be made in the Agneepath scheme after the first batch of recruits complete four years of service. Singh served as Army Chief from March 2010 to May 2012. Such statements from allies can create trouble for the BJP party.
