Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav has asked party leaders and workers to protect their votes after the completion of voting on 10 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. He sealed the EVMs and kept monitoring them till they reach the strong room and counting of votes.
Akhilesh wrote on his social media account After the voting is over, remain fully alert until the EVMs are sealed and reach the strong room. Everyone stand firm together. If any foul play is suspected, immediately send the video as proof. He said in the post that he should give his all to protect his vote as a 'booth protector' and 'soldier of the Constitution'.
