Border-to is not a sequel but a different story of the same fight

Mumbai: 'Border Two' will not be a sequel to the film 'Border' released 27 years ago, but the story of the Longowal battle of 1971 will be told in a different style.

Pidatta's film 'Border' was released in 1997. In which Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff and Sunil Shetty played the lead roles. Now there is talk that work is going on on 'Border Two'. However, this film has not been officially announced. Reportedly, JP Dutta's daughter Nidhi has written the story of Border 2 and the same is to be produced.

Earlier it was believed that this film would be a sequel to the 1997 classic film 'Border', but that is not going to happen. 'Border Tea' will cover the events that occurred on the night before the day of the battle. Apart from the Indian Army, the Indian Army and Air Force were also involved in the Battle of Longawal. The strength of these three military organs will be shown in the new film.
