
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya today organized a public darshan at 7 Kalidas, the government residence in Lucknow, and seriously listened to the problems and complaints of the people from different districts of the state. Shri Vijay Pal Verma, Basti requested to provide government financial assistance for the construction of Pashuwada. He informed the Deputy Chief Minister about his financial condition and the need to construct a cattle shed for better maintenance of animals. Shri Maurya ji listened to their problem seriously and instructed the concerned departmental officers to investigate the eligibility of the case and take necessary action as per the rules. He said that the benefits of government schemes should reach the eligible cattle farmers and needy families.
Hearing of problems related to widow pension and ration card
Smt. Prabha Tandon in public darshan, Lucknow resident requested to provide women widow pension. He informed the Deputy Chief Minister about his problem and demanded to be given the benefits of the pension scheme. Similarly Mrs. Gayatri, Unnao resident requested to add his name in the ration card. The Deputy Chief Minister seriously listened to the problems of both the women and instructed the concerned officials to conduct tests as per rules and take necessary action on the basis of eligibility. Shri Maurya ji said that widow pensionRation cards and other public welfare schemes are an important part of the government’s social security system for needy families. There should not be any kind of negligence in providing the benefits of the schemes to the eligible beneficiaries.
Request to provide benefits of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana
Mrs. Vandana and Mrs. Kamla Kumari, An Unnao resident requested the Deputy Chief Minister to provide housing under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. He informed about his housing related problem and demanded to get the benefit of government scheme. The Deputy Chief Minister sent both the applications to the concerned officials and gave instructions for investigation and necessary action as per rules. He said that the objective of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is to provide respectable housing to poor and needy families. Request for government assistance for daughter’s marriage
Shri Amarnatha Lucknow resident requested to provide government financial assistance for the marriage of his daughter. He informed the Deputy Chief Minister about his problems and family circumstances. Shri Maurya ji listened to him sensitively and instructed the concerned officers to take necessary action as per rules on the basis of eligibility. He said that it is the responsibility of the government to provide social security to poor and needy families and eligible people should get the benefits of public welfare schemes.

He directed the concerned officers to take immediate cognizance of the problems of the public and take necessary action as per rules. The Deputy Chief Minister told the officials that people’s problems should not be limited to paper processes only., Rather, resolution of each case should be ensured.
