Mamta Kulkarni met Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Dr. Lakshmi Narayan Tripathi of Kinnar Akhara and Mahamandaleshwar Swami Jai Ambanand Giri of Juna Akhara. After this meeting, there were speculations that she could join the Kinnar Arena.
