Hamirpur, 29 November (HS). Bhoranj MLA Suresh Kumar said that the issue of transfer of land of Radha Soami Satsang Beas is pending since the time of BJP government. The BJP government rejected the government in this matter. Addressing a press conference in Hamirpur, he said that now in September 2024, the government had received a letter on this subject from Vyas management. After this, this matter is being taken forward continuously and Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukh is serious on this issue. He has also called a high level committee meeting on this subject on 1st December in which representatives of Beas management will also be present. The Chief Minister himself has said that an ordinance will be brought in the Assembly to fulfill this demand of Vyas management. This matter is related to Section 118, hence it is necessary to bring an ordinance in the Assembly.
On the continuous protests on this matter in Hamirpur district, he said that BJP leaders are provoking people. The general public is not protesting but BJP workers are on the streets. In this context, he also released a copy of the correspondence made during the time of BJP government. He said that BJP’s intention is to close this hospital and this was proved by completely rejecting the demand of Vyas management in the previous BJP government. Efforts are being made on behalf of BJP to mislead people. Sujanpur MLA Ranjit Rana, Congress District President Suman Bharti, APMC Chairman Ajay Sharma and other Congress leaders were present in this press conference.
