
India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a very serious and new weather bulletin for the next 24 hours in view of the increasing activity of monsoon in large parts of the country. According to meteorologists, there is a strong possibility of torrential rains and severe lightning in more than 21 states of the country, due to which normal life may be affected.
Red alert of very heavy disaster in Bihar and Odisha
The Meteorological Department has warned of extremely heavy rain, especially for different districts of Bihar and Odisha. Due to this continuous torrential rain, there is a possibility of severe waterlogging and flash floods in urban and rural low-lying areas. The administration has given strict instructions to people not to stand in open places or under trees during lightning.
Warning of torrential rain and thunderstorm in these 10 states
According to the latest forecast of IMD, the weather pattern will be quite aggressive in 10 major states of Central and Eastern India including North-Eastern India. These mainly include Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. There is a possibility of heavy showers and thunderstorms in all these areas.
Latest weather condition of Delhi-NCR and North India
There is a relief news for the residents of the country’s capital Delhi and the entire NCR (Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram) that at present only sporadic or light drizzle will be seen here, due to which the humidity may increase partially. At the same time, continuous rain will continue in the hilly states of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh amidst the danger of landslides. Monsoon may once again take a severe form in parts of Purvanchal in Uttar Pradesh from 17 to 19 July.
