Kanpur, 30 October (Hindustan Reporter). Although BJP is active on every seat in the by-elections being held on vacant assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, the party is very active in Sisamau seat of Kanpur. The party wants to win this Muslim dominated seat at any cost and now preparations are being made to make a dent in the strong Muslim voters of SP. A conference of Muslim society is also to be organized in this regard on November 1.
The by-election is being held after the membership of Irfan Solanki, who was SP MLA from Sisamau assembly seat, ended. The main contest on this seat is between SP and BJP. While SP has fielded Irfan Solanki's wife Naseem Solanki, BJP has once again expressed confidence in Suresh Awasthi. Although there are a total of six candidates in the by-election, the real fight is between SP and BJP. While SP is confident that due to Irfan's sympathy, voters will unite and vote in favor of the party, BJP has maintained a strong hold among Hindu voters. Preparations were being made for this for months and the party also seems to be getting success. Now BJP has made preparations to woo Muslim voters as part of its strategy. Responsibility has been handed over to those responsible for this and the party will also hold a Muslim conference in Chamanganj on November 1. The party believes that if only four to six thousand Muslim voters join, then SP's defeat is certain.
Responsibility given to Salim Ahmed
State Vice President of Minority Morcha Salim Ahmed has been given the responsibility to strengthen the party among Muslims. Salim told on Wednesday that 96 booths in Sisamau assembly seat are Muslim dominated. Of these, committees have been formed at 80 booths and information about the schemes of Modi and Yogi government is being given among the voters. He said that the minorities have faith in the Modi government of the Center and the Yogi government of UP, because the benefits of the schemes are being received in a transparent manner. To connect Muslim voters with the party, a conference of Muslim society will be organized in Chamanganj on November 1. State Government's Finance Minister and Sisamau in-charge Suresh Khanna, MLC Manvendra Singh and Uttar Pradesh Government's Minister of State Danish Azad will participate in this conference.
