Jalaun, September 14 (HS). The procession of Hulka Maiya, which has been taken out in the district for the last 10 decades, will be taken out in Konch Nagar area on Saturday. More than 50 thousand devotees are expected to gather in this procession. Local people participate enthusiastically in this tradition of worship which has been going on for decades. At the same time, people believe that the procession of Mata, which is taken out every third year, protects the people here from major disasters and epidemics.
According to the information, District Magistrate Rajesh Kumar Pandey along with Superintendent of Police Durgesh Kumar had reached Maa Hulka Devi temple located near village Padri on Konch Orai Road. Where he took information about the entire program from the organizing committee and administrators. He also got information about the Shobha Yatra, route and other details from them.
Information was obtained about the event. After this, the officials visited the route on which this grand procession is to be taken out. They also reviewed the arrangements at the place from where this procession will start.
It is noteworthy that the grand Shobha Yatra of Maa Hulka Devi, which is organized every three years, is taken out on Saturday, 14 September, from the temple located in Lala Hardaul in Malviya Nagar of Konch city to the Maa Hulka Devi temple built in village Padri, in a radius of about five kilometers. All preparations for the Shobha Yatra have been completed.
