The number plate of every vehicle passing through these cameras will be tracked.
This will be directly monitored from the transport headquarters in Dehradun, so that immediate action can be taken on any suspicious vehicle or traffic violation.

Rest Points: Rest points are being prepared for drivers at Asharodi and Narsan border, where basic facilities like beds and toilets will be available.

Yatra Nodal Officer and RTO (Administration) Sandeep Saini said that under the process which started from March 30, till now More than 1500 green cards are issued. For the convenience of passengers, this facility is now available in Haridwar as well as Roorkee and Asharodi.
