Yamunanagar: New twist in the death of youth Prajwal who drowned in Yamuna, crying unconscious mother reached SP office, family members accused of murder.

Yamunanagar, Crime Reporter. The case of youth Prajwal’s death due to drowning in Yamuna river at Audri Ghat on the holy occasion of Ganga Dussehra has now taken a new and very serious turn. Refusing to accept this incident as a mere accident, the family members and villagers of deceased Prajwal reached the District Secretariat on Monday and submitted a written complaint to the Superintendent of Police (SP). The family members’ direct allegation is that Prajwal’s death was not just due to drowning in water, but behind it there was a deep thought and smell of a conspiracy i.e. murder.

On Monday morning, a large number of villagers and Prajwal’s family gathered at the main gate of Jagadhri grain market demanding justice. From there everyone marched on foot and proceeded towards the District Secretariat. During this time, the mother who had lost her young son was in a bad state, crying. While walking on foot, first on the side of the old National Highway (NH) and then while climbing the stairs to the entrance of the Secretariat building, she suddenly became dizzy and became unconscious. Seeing this condition of the mother, the eyes of the family members present there and the women of the village were filled with tears, who immediately took care of her and consoled her.

Villagers met SP, demanded fair investigation and registration of murder case

Amidst this emotional and tense atmosphere, a delegation of villagers and family members met the Superintendent of Police and handed him a complaint letter. Prajwal’s family described the entire incident before the SP as suspicious and demanded that the matter be investigated very thoroughly and impartially. He alleged that the role of the concerned youth present with Prajwal at the time of the incident is completely suspicious. The family members expressed suspicion on those youths and raised a strong demand to register a case of murder against them and send the culprits behind the bars.

‘The voice will not stop until we get justice’ – Villager

The villagers who reached the District Secretariat bluntly said that the entire village is in shock and anger after Prajwal’s death. He told the police administration in a warning tone that they are not going to keep quiet until this entire matter is investigated impartially and the victim’s family does not get complete justice. The villagers made it clear that they will continue to raise their voice in this fight for justice and will intensify the movement if needed.
