Keshav Prasad Maurya today chaired a high-level meeting with officials of the State Rural Livelihood Mission (UPSRLM) and partner organizations (NGOs) at his official residence, 7 Kalidas Marg, Lucknow in which Transform rural India, The Nudge, GDI, PCI India, Micro Save Consulting (MSC) and HCL Foundation (NGOs) participated.

Target of 1 crore Lakhpati Didi: The Deputy Chief Minister has set a new target of making 1 crore Lakhpati Didi to improve the economic condition of the Didis of Self Help Groups (SHG) in the entire state. Earlier this target was 35 lakhs, which has now been expanded on a large scale.

Increase in income: A target has been set to increase the income of 35 lakh Potential Lakhpati Didis (PLDs) by 40% in the next 3 years. Institutional Framework: A strong institutional and systemic framework will be developed to provide support to 1 crore SHG members. Under this, the institutions of Cluster Level Federation (CLF) will be further strengthened. Digital Livelihoods: Under the mission, 35 lakh Digital Livelihood Registers (DARs) have been created so far and there is a plan to train 60,000 Community Resource Persons (CRPs). Departmental Convergence: Emphasis has been laid on coordination with various departments (such as agriculture, animal husbandry, Panchayati Raj, and MSME) for effective implementation of government schemes so that women can get maximum benefit of government capital and resources. Drones and Krishi Sakhi: Special support will be provided to Krishi Sakhis for training drone didis to promote modern technology in rural areas and to promote natural farming. Every gate should work under your government. Empower rural women by coordinating the supply of pulses, spices, oil and food items with the food processing department. Increase the number of battery rickshaws, bank sakhis and link them with LIC. Retail stores should be set up at urban and rural levels and the products produced by the group should be sold.

In the meeting, Sorabh Babu, Principal Secretary, Rural Development, G.S. Priyadarshi, Commissioner, Rural Development and Director, State Livelihood Mission along with senior officials and representatives of key partner organizations like HCL Foundation, Transform Rural India (TRI) were present.
