Winner by one thousandth of a second in heart-wrenching 100 meter race

American athlete Lyles Noah won the major 100 meters sprint event at the Paris Olympics. The men’s 100 meters race at the Paris Olympics was thrilling and after the photo finish, Noah was declared the winner by a thousandth of a second. Lyles completed the race in 9.784 seconds. Whereas Jamaica’s Kishan Thompson lagged behind by 9.789 seconds i.e. 0.005 seconds and got the silver medal. For the first time since 2004, an American player won this competition. Lyles later contracted Covid and despite the illness, won a bronze medal in the 200m with a timing of 19.70 seconds.
