Why only Sindh? If you have courage, take the whole of Pakistan, Congress leader’s sharp taunt on Rajnath Singh’s statement:

News India Live, Digital Desk: Rashid Alvi Big Statement: Whenever the issue of India and Pakistan arises, the political temperature automatically rises. Recently, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had given a statement that the situation in Pakistan is so bad that the people there, especially the people of Sindh and POK, are looking at India with hopeful eyes and perhaps they themselves would like to join India in the future.

Now how could the opposition remain silent on this comment of Rajnath Singh? Senior Congress leader Rashid Alvi has given such a counterattack on this, which has started a new debate. Alvi Saheb says why are you talking only about ‘Sindh’, if you have the guts then take the whole of Pakistan!

What did Rajnath Singh say?
The Defense Minister had recently said that development is taking place in India and the neighboring country is struggling with poverty. In such a situation, the people of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) and Sindh province feel that they would have been happy if they had been with India. He had hinted that these parts could become part of India.

Rashid Alvi’s ‘challenging’ answer
Congress leader Rashid Alvi caught hold of this statement of Rajnath Singh and took a jibe. He said, “The government should not just talk. If Rajnath Singh ji is saying that the people of Sindh want to come to India, then what is the harm in it? But my question is, why are you stuck only on Sindh? If you have the capacity and the situation there is like this, then why just a piece, you should merge the whole of Pakistan with India.”

Sarcasm or advice?
This statement of Alvi is actually an attempt to corner the government. They are trying to say that it is easy to make such statements at the time of elections or in rallies, but what is the government doing in reality? He further said that if tomorrow the whole of Pakistan says that they want to meet in India, will the Modi government accept them? The government should clarify its position.

Questions raised on POK also
Rashid Alvi also raised the issue of PoK (Pak Occupied Kashmir). He said that the government says in the Parliament that it will take back PoK, but so many years have passed, nothing has happened at the ground level. He sarcastically said that the country does not become great by mere statements, decisions have to be taken.
