On April 12, thousands of users of social messaging app WhatsApp faced a big problem. According to the Dowdy website, at least 597 complaints have been filed against WhatsApp till 5:22 pm on Saturday evening.
85 percent of users complained
According to the Dowditector, 85 percent of these complaints were related to inability to send messages. Not only this, 12 percent of people faced problems in the app and 3 percent during login. Many users have also complained about WhatsApp down on social media platform X. A user posted about whether WhatsApp is down, because I am trying to post the status but it is not being uploaded. The user also shared a screenshot with it, in which the ‘upload pending’ status is clearly visible.
There is no response from Meta in this regard.
Posting on X, another user wrote, “Is it only happening to me or are you having trouble posting status on WhatsApp?” While another user wrote, “WhatsApp is down?” I am having trouble sending messages. Is this happening to you too? Talking about the complaints of WhatsApp down, many people have also faced difficulties in logging in. However, Meta has not issued any statement on complaints of WhatsApp down. Users have made similar complaints about Instagram and Facebook. It is worth noting that Meta is owned by these three social media platforms.
